This is a picture under the front header molding on the hardtop. The moulding was never removed before i removed it. The color under the moulding is a burnt copper candy colour . You can also see the colour that ppg formulated for us to match the original colour. This is probably the only 1953 corvette that came from the factory without white paint. There are many areas of the corvette that show the first coat of paint the same colour as this picture. Those areas will be documented here as well as pictures taken to varify.
