951 viewsCan you believe it. Thirty six years of sitting up side down in a parts department and its finally coming out to be restored. In aprrox. 1972/73 I purchased this corvette from a gentleman in burnaby B.C. Canada with the intention of building an all out show car. I didnt know i was buying an actual GM show car. The serial number on the certificate of title wasnt the same as a 1953 or1954 corvette. It read 4-106701260. I didnt clue in that it was a 1953 corvette until I pulled the body off the frame and found the original serial number stamp E53F001260 a 1953 # 260 .What a surpise! I wanted to build a show car and bought a show car and a 1953 corvette show car as well !Feb 11, 2008

274 viewsDoes anyone know who Arnie is? Someone that worked on the dash and doors of this corvette was proud enough to have autographed the underside of the dash with Arnie 02/10/54.If he only knew how important his efforts were going to be in the evolution of the corvette! We would sure love to interview Arnie if he is still with us. If you can help please email me at bruce@1954motoramacorvette.comFeb 11, 2008
